George Eustis (1811-1856) was christened

son of George and Phillipa (Bullen)
Eustis. He immigrated to the
United
States
in the early 1830’s, one of
the earliest of our
Cornwall
namesakes to come. He settled in St. Lawrence County, New York, where
he became a farmer. He married there
28 Dec 1836
to Jane McCoy who was born Dec 1812 in
Ireland
,
daughter of John and Ann McCoy, by whom he had eleven children. George died
in an accident on
9 Nov 1856
in St. Lawrence County and Jane died there in 1890. |
