Sister Mary Catherine Eustace of the Skibbereen Convent, age about 25 years, a Catholic nun, died January 19, 1875 of consumption, (two years), certified. Sister Mary Joseph Walsh of the Skibbereen Convent was present at the death which was registered in the Skibbereen  District and Union, County Cork on February 9, 1875; Pat Carthy, Registrar.

2. Catherine Eustace,                                     61        Dublin, North              12        401

Catherine Eustace, widow, age about 61 years, no occupation, died 14 September 1875 of heart disease, certified, at the North Dublin Union Workhouse, District, No. 3 North Dublin, City of Dublin. Michael Weddick, Chief Resident, N.D.U. Workhouse was present at the death which was registered 24 September 1875. W.D. White, Registrar.
Note: Catherine Eustace was born about 1814.

 

3. Charles Stannard Eustace

Captain Charles Stannard Eustace of Robertstown, County Kildare, the son of Reverend Charles Eustace and Cassandra Stannard, died in 1875. He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the 82nd Regiment and lived at Ballydoyle, County Cork, and at Robertstown, County Kildare. He married (1) on 8 April 1843 to Laura, daughter or Christopher Thomas Tower of Weald Hall, Essex, and (2) on 12 September 1864, to Rosetta Philippa, daughter of Colonel Cameron of Danygraig, Glamorganshire, but died without issue when succession of Robertstown passed to his cousin Henry Eustace of Corbally.

Christopher (twin to James) son of James Eustace and Sarah Rogers of Monkstown, County Dublin; born 18 November 1875, died as an infant in 1875.

 

5. Edward Eustace,                                        48        Carlow                        13        286

Edward Eustace, labourer, married, age about 48 years, of Graigenas, District of Fenagh and Myshall, County Carlow, died 18 August 1875 of heart disease and dropsy, no medical attendant. Mary Eustace of Graiguenspidogue was present. The death was registered September 6, 1875. Note: Edward Eustace was born about 1827.

 

6. Emily Eustace,                                            75        Dublin, South              7          504

Emily Eustace, widow, age about 75 years, dyer’s widow, of 2 South Brown Street, Dublin, died April 29, 1875 of chronic bronchitis, two months, certified. Barth. A. Eustace of 2 South Brown Street, Dublin was present at the death which was registered May 14, 1875.
Note: Emily Eustace was born about 1800.

James (twin to Christopher) son of James Eustace and Sarah Rogers of Monkstown, County Dublin was born 18 November 1875 and died as an infant in 1875.

 

8. Johanna Eustis,                                          4          Wexford                      4          766

Johanna Eustace of Brandane, County Wexford, age about 4 years, a laborer’s child, died January 16, 1875 of bronchitis, eight weeks, certified.  Mark Eustis of Brandane was present at the death which was registered in the Bannow District, Wexford Union, County Wexford on January 24, 1875; James Boyd, Registrar.

9.  John Eustace,                                            73        Naas                            12        598

John Eustace a 73 year old bachelor farmer living at Ballyfolan, Blessington District, County Wicklow died 24 September 1875 at about age 73 years. The cause of death is listed as “Disease of the back, 4 years (no medical attendant present); Michael Eustace of Ballyfolan was present at the death which occurred at Ballyfolan and was registered 28 September 1875 by W.G Merry, Registrar. He was born about 1802 and is probably the John Eustace listed on Griffith’s Valuation of 1848-64 as a householder at Ballyfolan, Kilbride Parish, County Wicklow.

 

10. Mary Eustace,                                          68        Wexford                      4          769     

Mary Eustace, small farmer, of Lingstown, County Wexford, age about 68 years, married, died January 2, 1875 of chronic pneumonia, seven years, no medical attendant. James  (his X mark) Eustace of Lingstown was present at the death which was registered in the Bridgetown  District, Wexford Union, County Wexford on January 10, 1874; Andrew Furlong, Registrar.

11. Mary Eustace,                                          76        New Ross                    4          691

Mary Eustace, married, of Michael Street, New Ross, County Wexford, age about 76, a pilot’s wife, died February 23, 1875 of old age, no medical attendant. D. (Daniel) Eustace of Michael Street was present at the death which was registered in the New Ross District and Union, County Wexford on February 26, 1875; J. Barron, Deputy Registrar.

Note: Mary Eustace was the wife of Daniel Eustace, born about 1803; a pilot who died at age about 76 years, on 20 March 1879, of gangrene (34 days) resulting from a thigh fracture which occurred three months previously. His death record gives his address as Michael Street, New Ross, County Wexford. Kitty Maher (her X mark) was present at his death. Daniel Eustace was born about 1803; he is listed in Griffith’s Valuation living at St. Mary’s, New Ross, County Wexford.

12. Patrick Eustace,                                       50        Dublin, South              7          502

Patrick Eustace, widower, age about 50 years, labourer, died May 3, 1875, of chronic bronchitis certified at the South Dublin Union Workhouse. C.H. Bourne, Chief Resident, S.D.U. Workhouse was present at the death was registered May 8, 1875. Thomas Purcell, Deputy Registrar.
Note: Patrick Eustace was born about 1825.

13. Teresa Eustace,                                        45        Naas                            2          891

Teresa Eustace, of Ballyfolan, spinster, age about 45 years, daughter of a farmer, died 5 March 1875 of what was described as a cramp in her side, fourteen days (no medical attendant) certified. Michael Eustace of Ballyfolan was present. The death was registered in the District of Blessington and Ballymore, Naas Union, Counties of Dublin, Kildare and Wicklow on March 11, 1875, William Merry, Registrar.

Note: Teresa Eustace was born about 1830.

 

14. Thomas Eustace,                          60        Carlow                        18        308

Thomas Eustace, Married, age about 60 years old, occupation Labourer, died of Spinal complaint lasting three months (certified) on November 15, 1865 at Rathrush, District of Fenagh & Myshall, County Carlow. Mary (her X mark) Eustace was present at the death in Rathrush which was registered 3 December 1875.
