Alfred Euston, sailor, married, age about 23 years old, died 27 February 1886 from a laceration of the brain by a fall off the top of the Quay wall (in Dublin). The information was received from Nicolas C. Whyte, Coroner of the City of Dublin; inquest held 1 March 1886. The death was recorded March 8, 1886; J. Byrne, Registrar.

Note: Alfred Euston was born about 1863.

 

2. Bridget Eustace,                             2Q       88        Kilrush                        4          238

Bridget Eustace nee McNamara, the widow of Simon Eustace a farmer, was born about 1798 and died on May 10, 1886 in Gowerhass, Kilrush, County Clare.  She married Simon Eustace about 1830 and their children included: Simon, born about 1830; Mary born about 1833, and Bridget born about 1839.

3. Edward Eustace,                            1Q       75        Balrothery                  2          350

Edward Eustace, farm laborer, married, age about 75 years old, Courtlough, Balbriggan District, Balrothery Union, County Dublin died 1 February 1886 from old age, no medical attendant. John (his X mark) Eustace of Courtlough, son, was present at the death which occurred at Courtlough and was recorded February 6, 1886; Edward McGonigle, Assistant Registrar.

Note: Edward Eustace was born about 1811.

 

4. Helena Frances Eustace,    4Q       0          Waterford                   2          420

Helena Frances Eustace born 14 September, 1886 was the daughter of daughter of William Eustace; Constable R.I.C. and Ellen Griffin of Henry Street, Waterford. She died soon after birth.

 

5. James Eustace,                               2Q       70        Celbridge                    2          350

James Eustace, bachelor, about 70 years old, Gentleman, (son of Christopher Eustace, merchant), died 3 May 1886 at Kilcock, County Kildare from bronchitis, certified. Thomas Gibney, brother-in-law was present at the death which occurred in Kilcock. The death was recorded 29 May, 1886; William Weston; Registrar. James Eustace was born about 1816.

Note: Thomas Gibney, full age, cattle dealer, son of Martin Gibney, butcher married Marian Eustace, full age spinster, daughter of Christopher Eustace, merchant on November 1, 1865 at the Roman Catholic Chapel of Rathcoffey. Witnesses were Bernard Gibney and Bridget Eustace.

John Eustace, laborer, age about 22 years old, bachelor, Gentstown, Bridgetown District, Wexford Union, County Wexford died September 25, 1886 from consumption, no medical attendant. James Eustace of Gentstown, brother, was present at the death which occurred at Gentstown and was recorded September 25, 1886; Michael Browne, Assistant Registrar.

Note: John Eustace was born about 1864.

 

7. Mary Eustace,                                1Q       60        Dublin, North              2          500

Mary Eustace, widow of a laborer, age about 60 years old, 8 Chancery Place, District of North City No. 2, North Dublin Union, County and City of Dublin died 1 January 1886 from paralysis, certified. M.M. Cormack of 16 Wine Tavern Street was present at the death which occurred at 8 Chancery Lane and was recorded January 11, 1886; Michael Strahan, Registrar.

Note: Mary Eustace was born about 1826.

 

8. Mary Eustace,                                1Q       67        Balrothery      2          331/351

Mary Eustace, widow of a laborer, age about 67 years old, Courtlough, Balbriggan District, Balrothery Union, County Dublin died 18 February 1886 from bronchitis, certified. John (his X mark) Eustace of Courtlough, son, was present at the death which occurred at Courtlough which was recorded February 27, 1886; Edward McGonigle, Assistant Registrar.
Note: Mary Eustace was born about 1819.

 

9.  Patrick Eustace,                            4Q       70        Dublin, North              3          83

Patrick Eustace, married, about 70 years old, bootmaker, died 13 November 1886 at the North Dublin Union (N.D.U.) Workhouse, Dublin from asthenia, certified. P. Comerford, inmate, N.D.U. was present at the death which occurred at the N.D.U. Workhouse. The death was recorded 4 December, 1886; W.D. White, Registrar. Patrick Eustace was born about 1816.

 

10.  Richard Eustace,                                     3Q       40        Claremorris                4          91

Richard Eustace, married, about 40 years old, ex-constable Royal Irish Constabulary (R.I.C.), died August 20, 1886 at the Claremorris Union Workhouse from epilepsy (one year) and paralysis (six months), certified.  P.A. Callaghan, occupier, Claremorris Union Workhouse was present at the death which was recorded 21 August, 1886; Thomas Patterson, Assistant Registrar.

Note: Richard Eustace was born about 1846.

11. Simon Eustace,                             2Q       56        Kilrush                        4          238

Simon Eustace, married to Catherine Halloran was a shopkeeper/grocer on Henry Street, Kilrush, County Clare.  He died of stomach cancer on June 3, 1886 on Henry Street in the presence of his wife.

12. Thomas Fox Eustace,                   2Q       48        Dublin, North              2          416

Thomas Fox Eustace, married, about 48 years old, heraldic artist, 6 Buckingham Buildings, Dublin, died April 12, 1886 from conpstion? Of the lungs (three months), certified. His son E. L. F. Eustace was present at the death which occurred at 6 Buckingham Buildings. The death was recorded 16 April, 1887, F. P. Nowlan, Registrar.

Note: Thomas Fox Eustace was born about 1838.
