Andrew Eustace, a bachelor, commission agent age about 26 years, died July 2, 1899, 1897 at the Meath Hospital of alcoholic epilepsy (ten days), cardiac failure, certified. Honor Gaffney, Meath Hospital was present at the death was registered July 25, 1899 in the District No. 3, South City, South Dublin County Dublin; H. Day; Assistant Registrar.

2. Daniel Eustace,                               3Q       95        Kilrush                        4          173

Daniel Eustace, a widowed farmer in Doonogan, Cragaknock, County Clare, died of senile decay on May 13, 1899 in Doonagan.  His daughter Margaret Griffin was present at his death.

3. Ellen Eustace,                                 4Q       59        Dublin, North              2          325

Ellen Eustace; a widow from Greenlanes Cottages, Clontarf, age about 59 years, housekeeper, died December 24, 1899 at home of heart degeneration (12 months) and syncope (five minutes), certified. Henry Eustace, her son was present at the death which was registered December 27, 1899 in the District of Clontarf & Howth No. 1, Union of Dublin North, County Dublin; William Gibson; Registrar.

5. Harriett Eustace,                            1Q       10        Dublin, North              2          428

Harriet Eustace, Spinster, age about 10 years old, car owner’s child, died of typhoid fever lasting 2 months and exhaustion (certified) on 5 January, 1899 at 34 Church Street, Dublin North. Her mother Anne Eustace was present at the death which was recorded 5 January 1899.

Note:

Harriet Eustace was the daughter of Christopher Eustace and Anne Farrell. She  was born March 25 1890 at 27 Cook Street, Dublin South.

 

6. John Eustace,                                 2Q       73        Dublin, North              2          375

John Eustace was born in 1827 and died in 1899. He was the son of John Eustace, M.D. (1791-1867); and Jane Goodbody (1793-1871). He became a medical doctor and lived at Hampstead, Glasnevin, Dublin North. In 1865, he married Maria Eliza, daughter of William Neilson. Dr. John Eustace and Maria Eliza Neilson were the parents of: Benjamin Fawcett Eustace (1870-1919); Annie Sydney Eustace (1866-1941); Dr. John Neilson Eustace (1867-94); Dr. Henry Marcus Eustace (1867-1927) who married Mary Susan Brown; Sarah Eleanor Eustace (1872-1949); Maria Christina Eustace (1873-1939) who married James Gillespie with issue; Dr. William Neilson, L.R.C.P.I. (1875-1948) who married Pauline Const Barker; and had Dr. William Desmond Eustace, born 1912; Terence Neilson Eustace, born 1914; and Dr. Philip Faulder Eustace, born 1916.

 

7. Kate Eustace,                                 2Q       35        Killadysert                  4          196

Kate Eustace was the daughter of John and Mary McInerney and she was the widow of Michael Eustace an Erribul, Labasheeda farmer.  Kate died of phthisis on the 20th of April, 1899 at the age of 35.  Kate and Michael Eustace were survived by three children.

8. Margaret Eustace,                         3Q       44        Dublin, South              2          584

Margaret Eustace of 3 Corn Exchange Place, age about 44 years, a gardener’s widow died at Corn Exchange Place on August 15, 1899 of mammary carcinoma and exhaustion, certified. Mary (her X mark) Kidd of 3 Corn Exchange Place, Margaret’s sister was present at the death which was registered August 19, 1899 in the District No. 4, South Dublin Union, County Dublin; H.W. Byrne, Assistant Registrar.
Note: Margaret Kidd daughter of _______Kidd married ________ Eustace on _______ at_______ .
 

9. Margaret Jane Eustace,                 3Q       45        Belfast                         1          182

Margaret Eustace from 5 Barrack Street, Belfast, a laundress, age about 45 years, a widow died at the Belfast workhouse on July 12, 1899 of cerebral degeneration and exhaustion, certified.  Adam S. Weir, occupier of the Belfast workhouse was present at the death which was registered July 15, 1899 in the Belfast District No. 4, Belfast Union, County Antrim.

 

10. Margaret Mary Eustace,             1Q       0          Dublin, South              2          585

Margaret Mary Eustace from 10 Warrenmount Place, a three week old child, daughter of a baker (Richard Eustace), died at home on February 12, 1899 of debility from birth and convulsions, certified.  Richard Eustace, her father was present at the death which was registered February 13, 1899 in the District No. 3 South City, South Dublin Union, County and city of Dublin.
Note: Margaret Mary Eustace the daughter of Richard Eustace, baker and Mary McKevitt was born January 20, 1899.

 

11. Margaret Eustace,                       4Q       90        Kilrush                        4          192

Margaret Eustace, a widow of a farmer from Cahermurphy, Kilmihil, County Clare died of old age and infirmity on December 15, 1899 in Cahermurphy.  Michael Costello was present at her death.
