Patrick McAndrews Dies at Home in Burnsville

Patrick McAndrews Dies at Burnsville (Rosemount Post Office):

Patrick McAndrews, 71 years of age, died Saturday, March 21, 1925 at his home in Burnsville, Minnesota. Funeral services were conducted Monday morning at St. John’s Church, Savage, Rev. Father Kane officiating and the remains were interred at Savage.

Mr. McAndrews was born at Polladouhy Townland, Crossmolina Parish, County Mayo, Ireland on November 27, 1854. He came to this country, when a boy, and spent the early years of his manhood, in Pennsylvania. Later he went to Montana, and finally to Minnesota where he settled on a farm in Burnsville Township and spent the remainder of his life.

On May 31, 1898, he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Jordan. The happy union was blessed with six children.

The deceased had been ailing for several years but it was only a few weeks ago that his condition was thought to be critical. Despite all that medical care and tender hands could do, his life could not be prolonged.

The deceased was a kind hearted husband, loving father, a true friend, and a highly esteemed member of the community.

He is survived by his devoted wife, six children, Bartley, Mary, Anne, John, Margaret and Agnes, a brother John of Venice, California, two sisters, Mrs. McMenomy of Armstead, Montana and Mrs. Anne Brogan of (Crossmolina)Ireland.
